Corky 'The Cat' (as nicknamed by Eurosport's Carlton Kirby) spent 3 years training and sold the family home back in 2013 to fulfil his dream of competing in the Dakar Rally. His 1st attempt in 2015 ended suddenly at the end of day 4 with a crash resulting in a few broken bones. He returned in 2016 where a mechanical problem finally saw him exit the event at the end of day 12. Go Trail Riding was set up to help get raise the funds needed for Corky to race in the Dakar. He is back in training and hoping to return to the Dakar in 2019

New HQ For Go Trail Riding

After a long time of searching we have managed to find a property where we can now entertain 4 riders, their bikes, gear, and vehicles. The property has a kit room, workshop, guest lounge, safe lockup for the bikes, and gardens. We will be in the same village of Northlew with the local pub and shop within walking distance. We look forward to having our 1st visitors after Corky returns from Dakar 2016.

Corky Ready For Dakar 2016

After a final trip to Morocco for the Merzouga Rally everything is set for Dakar 2016. The bike, kit bag, and rally boxes are with Nomade Racing in France ready for the journey to South America.
